Every time you buy a Brenniston National Standard First Aid Kit we donate a dollar to Greenfleet, a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to mitigating the impact of climate change by planting native, bio-diverse forests in Australia and New Zealand.
Greenfleet was founded in 1997 and has since planted over 10.3 million trees, creating over 550 forests and making a significant contribution in the fight to halt the climate crisis.
Offset carbon
Your purchase of a Brenniston National Standard First Aid Kit has been part of that contribution. In the last year we offset 1,120 tonnes of carbon with your help.
In 2022, Greenfleet restored native forests across 408 hectares in Australia and New Zealand. This will remove 448,452 tonnes of carbon, which is equivalent to taking over 104,000 cars off our roads for a year.
Planting projects in 2022 included 20 bio-diverse native forests with 197 species of native plants in the Noosa Hinterland, Cherry Gully, Aroona, Glendalough and Kinglake.
Regenerate the environment
Restoring degraded land by planting native forests helps absorb dangerous carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and provides vital habitat for wildlife.
In 2022 more than 360 hectares of protected koala habitat were restored.
These native forests are carefully selected and planted to ensure they make the most positive impact on the environment.
Once the trees are planted, Greenfleet provides ongoing support to ensure they thrive and provide maximum environmental benefits. This includes regular monitoring and maintenance so the native forests grow healthy and resilient.
